   When caring for a Flowerhorn we advise that you take on the task wholeheartedly. Understand that they are hybrid fish, due to this they are known to have weaker immune systems and require extra care. However, besides their more needy unnatural nature, the Flowerhorn fish provides the most stunning color, shape and attitude known to modern day tropical fish. For a successful and enjoyable Flowerhorn keeping experience create a weekly routine for tank/filter maintenance. while your doing weekly maintenance do 30% water change as well. They appreciate warmer temperature from 84F-86F and a little more alkaline water of around 8PH. Aquarium salt ( 1tsp per 5 gal.) should be added to the clean water during water changes to promote health.
